Africa Creates: There’s always room for chocolate, Yes or No?

Suite 101, Tribe Hotel, Kenya.

Yes. Definitely Yes! There is ALWAYS room for chocolate! No, I’m not addicted. Why do you ask?Handmade chocolate, sculptured cakes & homemade ice cream… No, I’m not talking about Willie Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, but something just as good: Suite 101 at the Tribe Hotel.

Believe it or not: this is a cake

I sat surrounded by incredible, edible works of art, while Sarah Alexandra and Anne Maina shared what it takes to be a chocolatier. And it’s no joke: a lot of work and long hours goes into every delicious bite.

At Suite 101, you can enjoy the unusual boutique flavour of The Tribe while surrounded by a bewildering assortment of handmade chocolates and ice cream while sipping on exotic teas collected from across Africa. Not a bad way to spend the afternoon! For more info and mouth-watering pics, go to the Tribe Hotel. Better yet, if you’re in (or planning to pass through) Nairobi, definitely plan a trip to the Tribe and its corner of deliciousnessss, Suite 101.
