BBA is Back: Huddah and Annabel to Represent Kenya

BBA is Back: Huddah and Annabel to Represent Kenya
Bottomline Kenya

The eighth season of Big Brother Africa is here, this time sponsored by struggling telcomm company airtel and going by the new tag of BBA: The Chase. The launch went down yesterday in a live event that saw the likes of STL and Churchill take to the stage alongside African heavyweights such as Mafikizolo and Don Jazzy. As usual, each of the  28 housemates selected from all over Africa will be out to do whatever it takes to return home with the $ 300,000 jackpot prize. Millions of viewers watching their every move in the Big Brother House will hope this scenario will translate to the kind of  drama, manipulation, romance and sexual “situations” that previous seasons have had.

This time, an all-female pair will be repping Kenya in the house – the notorious model-cum-socialite Huddah Monroe and newbie Annabel Mbaru, a 24 year old student-cum-fashion designer with a history of anger management issues. Below is our summary of the pair’s thoughts and feelings thus far as they hope to emulate Prezzo’s Top 3 finish last year:

Huddah Monroe

Gameplan: Nope

Ideal Guy: Not good looking, wealthy who knows how to keep his mouth absolutely shut

Reasons to Get in Fight In the House: “Maybe about a guy some chick is interested in and the guy is not interested in her, he’s interested in me” – Obviously

Anne Mbaru

Gameplan: Nope “I am a happy person”.

Main Fears in the House: “Being that person who gets provoked and slaps some one… I have a history of being very aggressive.”

What Her Mum Doesn’t Know: She has been “involved” with other ladies

So there, you have it. Are there any doubts that the sparks won’t fly this season now that these two are part of the mix? Let’s just wait and see. Watch Huddah and Annabel’s introductory videos HERE and HERE. Catch up with the show all day on DStv Channel 198 and  daily highlight shows on GOtv as well.
